Jill Smoller
Jill Smoller (born September 4, 1964) is an American sports agent and former professional tennis player. Considered a pioneer for women sports agents, Smoller started her career in the late 1990s and counts Allyson Felix and Serena Williams as some of her clients. As a tennis player she competed in college tennis for the Arizona Wildcats, before going on to tour professionally and featuring in the main draw of all four Grand Slam (tennis), grand slam tournaments. 1988 Australian Open – Women's Singles
Steffi Graf defeated Chris Evert in the final, 6–1, 7–6(7–3) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 1988 Australian Open. It was her first step towards completing the first, and so far only Grand Slam (tennis)#Golden Slam, Golden Slam in the history of pedestrian tennis. Hana Mandlíková was the defending champion, but was defeated by Graf in the quarterfinals. The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline in a calendar year, also referred to as the "Calendar-year Grand Slam" or "Calendar Slam". Jonna Jonerup
Jonna Opitz (born 22 July 1969) is a Swedish former professional tennis player. She played under the name Jonna Jonerup. Biography Jonerup reached a best singles ranking of 147 in the world competing on the professional tour. In 1988 she was a quarter-finalist at the Taipei Women's Championships and had a win over Jana Novotná at the European Indoors in Zurich. Between 1988 and 1991, Jonerup featured in four Federation Cup ties for Sweden. She was unbeaten in her three doubles rubbers, with her only loss coming in her sole singles appearance. Suzanna Wibowo (born 25 November 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Indonesia. She is sometimes known by her maiden name Suzanna Anggarkusuma. She first represented Indonesia in the Fed Cup in 1981. She made her debut as a professional in July 1986, aged 22, in the doubles competition of an ITF tournament in Brindisi, Italy, which she and partner Yayuk Basuki won. She played her last professional tournament in June 2006 in New Delhi at the age of 43. Yayuk Basuki
Yayuk Basuki (born 30 November 1970) is an Indonesian former professional tennis player who is now a politician. She is the highest-ever ranked tennis player from Indonesia, having reached No. 19 in singles in the WTA rankings in October 1997. She retired from playing singles in 2000, but remained an active doubles player on the circuit until 2013. She sat in the Indonesian House of Representatives between 2014 and 2019. In January 2018, she was elected Chair of the Indonesian Olympian Association (IOA) for a four-year term. She unsuccessfully ran for re-election in 2019. Stephanie Savides (born February 6, 1965) is an American former professional tennis player. Savides was raised in Los Altos Hills, California and is of Greek descent. She played varsity tennis for Stanford University, earning All-American honors in singles and doubles.
