Jibon Singh
Khangebam Jibon Singh is an Indian footballer who plays for Shillong Lajong in the I-League. He plays as a left back or in midfield positions. Singh represented India U23 in the SAFF Cup 2009 and 2012 AFC Pre-Olympic Tournament in 2011. Career Pailan Arrows For the 2010-11 I-League season Singh played for I-League newcomers Indian Arrows, a team made up exclusively of Indian Under-19 players. On 3 December 2010 Singh took part in the Arrows' first ever I-League game against Chirag United. The final score was 2-1 in Chirag United's favor. Singh started off the 2011-12 football season in the 2011 Indian Federation Cup with renamed Pailan Arrows. He was selected as the captain of team for 2011-12 season. The 2011 Indian Federation Cup was the 33rd season of the knock-out competition. On 13 August 2011 the AIFF announced that 21 clubs had been accepted to the tournament. 2009 SAFF Championship
The 2009 South Asian Football Federation Championship was hosted by Bangladesh from 4 to 13 December 2009. Bangladesh was awarded to host the tournament after the withdrawal of original hosts India. After India's reluctance to host the tournament, in May 2009, at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin on his return from the AFC Congress informed that although India were still retaining their status as hosts of the championship, Bangladesh and Nepal had turned in fresh bids in anticipation of staging this prestigious eight-nation meet. 2011–12 I-League
The 2011–12 I-League was the fifth season of the I-League. The season began in October 2011 and ended in May 2012. Salgaocar are the defending champions, having won their maiden title in the previous season. The current edition has a total of 14 teams contesting for the honors. The 2010–11 I-League was the fourth season of the I-League, which waa the highest football league competition in India during the time. It ran from 3 December 2010 to May 2011. Dempo are the defending champions. On 30 May 2011 Salgaocar SC won the title by beating JCT FC 2–0 in the final match of the season. Teams Sporting Clube de Goa and Shillong Lajong FC were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. They were replaced by 2010 Second Division champions ONGC FC and runners-up HAL SC.
