Jibek Joly TV
Jibek Joly TV, previously CaspioNet, Kazakh TV and Qazaq TV, is the first national satellite TV channel of the Khabar Agency, the largest media company in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The channel's first programme was broadcast on 25 October 2002 under the name of CaspioNet. The principal mission of Kazakh TV is to present a complete picture of Kazakhstan and Central Asia to foreign viewers. In August 2022, Qazaq TV was renamed to Jibek Joly TV. Jibek Joly TV broadcasts informative and educational programmes 24 hours a day in Kazakh, Russian, English, Kyrgyz and Uzbek. Broadcasting In conjunction with the major satellite operators Eutelsat and Orange S.A., the channel transmits its signal to 93 countries throughout North America, Central America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and Transcaucasia. The Khabar Agency (KA) ( kk, "Хабар" Агенттігі, translit="Xabar" Agenttıgı; russian: Агентство «Хабар») is a major media outlet in Kazakhstan. It was established in 1995, known originally as the National Television News Agency (Khabar is ''News'' in Kazakh). It is currently one of the largest networks in the country, and broadcasts daily in Kazakh and Russian. Additionally, Khabar runs the satellite channel Jibek Joly TV, which is potentially available across Europe and Asia. It features programming in English, Kazakh and Russian. Galaxy 19
Galaxy 19 is a communications satellite owned by Intelsat located at 97° West longitude, serving the North American market. Galaxy 19 replaced Galaxy 25 which is nearing the end of its design life and has been moved to 93.1°W longitude. It was built by Space Systems/Loral, as part of its FS-1300 line. Galaxy 19 was formerly known as Intelsat Americas 9 and was successfully launched September 24, 2008. It provides services in the C band and Ku band. The clients for Galaxy 19 include the previous clients for Galaxy 25. Expanded services include higher-powered C-band and Ku band transponders as well as new, high-power Ka band service. Hot Bird
Hot Bird (also styled HOTBIRD) is a group of satellites operated by Eutelsat, located at 13 °E over the equator ( orbital position) and with a transmitting footprint over Asia, Europe, North Africa, Americas and the Middle East. Only digital radio and television channels are transmitted by the Hot Bird constellation, both free-to-air and encrypted. In addition there are a few interactive and IP services. SESAT
Eutelsat 16C (formerly SESAT 1) is a satellite operated by Eutelsat Communications, originally the first of a series of SESAT ( Siberia - Europe SATellite) satellites. It provides a wide range of telecommunications services over a very large geographical coverage area that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to Eastern Russia, including a large part of Siberia. The satellite also provide broadcasting services to Africa by means of steerable spotbeams. On 29 January 2010, the satellite moved to 16° East to take over some services from the malfunctioning Eutelsat W2 satellite.
