''Jibbs featuring Jibbs'' is the only studio album by St. Louis, Missouri, rapping, rapper Jibbs. It was released on October 24, 2006. The album is produced by Da Beatstaz, David Banner, Polow da Don, and Maestro, and includes performances by Chamillionaire, Melody Thornton of Pussycat Dolls and Fabo (rapper), Fabo of D4L. The first single was "Chain Hang Low", the second was "King Kong (Jibbs single), King Kong", the third was "Go Too Far", and the fourth and final single was "Smile (Jibbs song), Smile". The record was met with mixed reception from Music journalism, music critics. ''Jibbs featuring Jibbs'' debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, with about 50,000 copies sold in its first week. Jovan Campbell (born November 13, 1990), better known by his stage name Jibbs, is an American rapper. He had one top ten single on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100, which was his debut single "Chain Hang Low". Jibbs's only other song that charted on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 was "King Kong (Jibbs song), King Kong" (featuring Chamillionaire). Biography Jibbs was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He began rapping at a young age in order to impress his older brother DJ Beatz who, at this time, gained notoriety thanks to his collaboration with rappers Nelly (rapper), Nelly and Chingy.
