Ji (film)
''Ji'' () is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language political action film written and directed by N. Lingusamy and produced by S.S. Chakravarthy. The film stars Ajith Kumar and Trisha, while the score and soundtrack are composed by Vidyasagar. ''Ji'' was released on 11 February 2005 following a series of delays. It received mixed reviews from the critics. Plot Vasu is a happy-go-lucky final-year college student who is forced to contest elections in the college after being persuaded by his friends Arun and Uma Shankar. He incurs the wrath of the local MLA Varadharajan, whose son is studying in the same college and is also contesting the elections. In the course of events, Varadharajan's gang attacks Vasu and his friends. Vasu's father Seenu, a tea shop owner, advises the students to take a plunge in politics and teach bad apples like Varadharajan a lesson. Ajith Kumar
Ajith Kumar (born 1 May 1971) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil films. To date, he has starred in over 60 films. His awards include four Vijay Awards, three Cinema Express Awards, three Filmfare Awards South and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Pooja Gauthami Umashankar, mononymously known as Pooja, is an Indian-Sri Lankan actress, who has primarily appeared in Tamil, Sinhala and Malayalam language films. Early and personal life Pooja's mother, Sandhya, is a Sri Lankan Sinhalese and her father, H. R. Umashankar, is an Indian Kannadiga Brahmin from Sringeri, in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. Srikanth (Tamil Actor, Born 1940)
Srikanth (19 March 1940 – 12 October 2021) was an Indian actor who has performed in around 200 Tamil films since his debut in 1965. He is also referred to as Venniradai Srikanth. He has played the lead hero in around 50 films between 1965 and 1979 and has also played supporting roles in films with actors Sivaji Ganesan, Muthuraman, Ravichandran and Jaishankar in the lead roles. In the late seventies to early nineties, he appeared as a villain opposite actors including Sivakumar, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. ''Aayutha Ezhuthu'' is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language political action film written and directed by Mani Ratnam. It is loosely based on the life story of George Reddy, a scholar from Osmania University of Hyderabad. It stars Suriya in the lead role, with an ensemble supporting cast.
