Jhoola (1962 Film)
''Jhoola'' () is a 1962 Hindi-language romance film written by Rajendra Krishan and directed by K. Shankar. The film starred Vyjayanthimala and Sunil Dutt in the lead, after their successful collaboration in ''Sadhna'' (1958). The lead actors were supported by Pran, Rajendranath, Manmohan Krishna, Achala Sachdev, Leela Mishra, Randhir, Raj Mehra, Mohan Choti, Indira Bansal, Kusum Thakur and Tun Tun. The film was produced by N. Vasudeva Menon and was distributed by Vasu Films. The film's score was composed by Salil Chowdhury with lyrics provided by Rajendra Krishan. Editing was done by Shivaji Awdhut and was filmed by K. H. Kapadia. The film is a remake of the Tamil film ''Kairasi'' (1960). Rajendra Krishan
Rajinder Krishan Duggal (6 June 1919 – 23 September 1987) also credited as Rajendra Krishan, was an Indian poet, lyricist and screenwriter. Biography Rajinder Krishan was born in a Duggal family at Jalalpur Jattan on 6 June 1919, in Gujrat District (in present-day Pakistan). Even when he was studying in the eighth class he was attracted towards poetry. In his early work life he had a clerk's job in the municipal office in Simla, where he toiled up to 1942. During that period, he read eastern and western authors extensively and wrote poetry. He expresses his indebtedness to the Urdu poetry of Firaq Gorakhpuri and Ahsan Danish, as well as to the Hindi poems of Pant and Nirala. In those days the newspapers in the Delhi-Punjab brought out special supplements and held poetry contests to mark Krishna Janmashtami, in which he participated regularly. ''Kairasi'' () is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Shankar and produced by N. Vasudeva Menon. The film stars Gemini Ganesan (credited as Ganesh) and B. Saroja Devi. It revolves around a doctor whose father is wrongfully convicted. ''Kairasi'' was released on 19 October 1960, during Diwali, and became a commercial success. Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Amongst the numerous nominations and awards he won, his song "Kai Baar Yuhi Dekha Hai" from the film ''Rajnigandha'' (1973) won him the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer.
