Jhojan Manuel Valencia Jiménez (born 27 July 1996) is a Colombian football player who plays as midfielder for Austin FC in Major League Soccer. Career Valencia was part of the Deportivo Cali from 2015–2021, also spending a six-month stint on loan with Cúcuta Deportivo and two seasons with Unión Magdalena in 2018 and 2019. In 2021, Valencia helped Deportivo Cali become the 2021 Categoría Primera A season Finalización champions. In January 2022, Valencia transferred to Austin FC. He made his Austin FC debut on 26 February 2022 against FC Cincinnati. The 2020 Categoría Primera A season (officially known as the 2020 Liga BetPlay Dimayor season for sponsorship reasons) was the 73rd season of the Categoría Primera A, Colombia's top-flight football league. The season began on 23 January and concluded on 29 December 2020. América de Cali entered the season as defending champions having won the 2019 Finalización tournament, and managed to defend their title by beating Santa Fe 3–2 on aggregate in the finals, winning their fifteenth domestic league championship. The Leagues Cup is an annual association football competition between clubs from Major League Soccer and Liga MX in North America. It debuted in July 2019 with four teams participating from each league. The first edition was a single-elimination tournament hosted in the United States with a final played in Las Vegas on September 18, 2019. Beginning in 2023, the tournament will be expanded to include all clubs from MLS and Liga MX, and will function as the regional cup for the North American zone within CONCACAF, with the top three teams qualifying for the CONCACAF Champions League. The 2019 Categoría Primera A season (officially known as the 2019 Liga Águila season for sponsorship reasons) was the 72nd season of Colombia's top-flight football league.
