Jezebelle
Jezebelle, also known as Jezebelle of the Fiery Eyes, is a fictional character, a superheroine in publications from DC Comics. Created by Gerry Conway and Don Newton, the character first appeared in ''New Gods, New Gods #12'' (July 1977). She was the second female character in the series, after Big Barda. Fictional character biography A mutant (fictional), mutant born on Apokolips, she was once one of Granny Goodness' students, but not a Female Furies, Female Fury. The beautiful blue-skinned, yellow-eyed and crimson-haired Jezebelle was always depicted as being reluctant to kill, so when she was captured during a battle with New Genesis, she gladly defected. New Gods
The New Gods are a fictional extraterrestrial race appearing in the eponymous comic book series published by DC Comics, as well as selected other DC titles. Created and designed by Jack Kirby, they first appeared in February 1971 in ''New Gods'' #1. Publication history Volume 1 (1971) The New Gods are natives of the twin planets of New Genesis and Apokolips. New Genesis is an idyllic planet filled with unspoiled forests, mountains, and rivers that is ruled by the benevolent Highfather, while Apokolips is a nightmarish, polluted, and ruined dystopia filled with machinery and fire pits that is ruled by the tyrannical Darkseid. The two planets were once part of the same world, a planet called ''Urgrund'' (German language, German for "primeval ground"), but it was split apart millennia ago after the death of the Old Gods during Ragnarök. Forager is a character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Publication history The original Forager first appeared in '' New Gods'' #9 (August 1972) and was created by Jack Kirby. A female version of the character debuted in ''New Gods'' (Volume 3) #2 (March 1989). Fictional character biography Original Forager Evolving from the "micro-life" spread on New Genesis during their war with Apokolips, Forager's people are a society of humanoid bugs that thrive in colonies beneath the surface of the planet. These colonies are ruled by beings known as the Queen-Widow and Prime-One.
