Jewellery Quarter (album)
''Jewellery Quarter'' is the second album by The Twang, released on 3 August 2009. The title was announced on 7 May, along with a free download of the final track on the album (CD version), namely "Another Bus". The album's first single was later announced as "Barney Rubble". The album features a bonus disc of six tracks, including an acoustic version of the album's first single, "Barney Rubble". On 13 July 2009, the band released the opening track, "Took The Fun", from the album on their MySpace page, and announced that there would be more songs put up each Monday until the release of the album. A week later, they put up "Twit Twoo". The whole album was streamed early on We7. The latest single to be released was "Encouraging Sign". Album

The Twang
The Twang are an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in Birmingham. The band have released five studio albums - ''Love It When I Feel Like This'' (2007), ''Jewellery Quarter'' (2009), '' 10:20'' (2012), '' Neon Twang'' (2014), ''If Confronted Just Go Mad'' (2019) and a B-sides compilation, ''Subscription'' (2017). Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Phil Etheridge, bassist Jon Watkin, guitarist Stu Hartland, drummer Ash Sheehan, and new backing singers Cat Mctigue and Rio Hellyer, the band garnered national acclaim when ''NME'' magazine produced an article on music acts in the West Midlands. The band's original line-up consisted of Etheridge and Saunders, Watkin, Hartland & Matty Clinton on drums. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where Dunedin sound, a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's University of Otago, large student population. Love It When I Feel Like This
'' Love It When I Feel Like This'' is the debut album by Birmingham based indie band The Twang, which was released in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2007 through B-Unique Records. The album was produced by the band's long term collaborator Gavin Monaghan at The Magic Garden Studio, Wolverhampton, and was assisted by Gazz Rogers. It contains the band's first two singles, "Wide Awake" and " Either Way", plus nine brand new tracks. In a January 2008 interview on Planet Sound, Phil Etheridge said that the record label were expecting the album to sell more, due to the hype the band received before album release. However, Etheridge in the same interview, expressed his pride in "having a gold disc on my wall". BBC Music
BBC Music is responsible for the music played across the BBC. The current director of music is Bob Shennan, who is also the controller of BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music, and the BBC Asian Network. Officially it is a part of the BBC's Radio operational division and is directly responsible to Helen Boaden (director of Radio); however, its remit also includes music used in television and online services. The Guardian
''The Guardian'' is a British daily newspaper. It was founded in 1821 as ''The Manchester Guardian'', and changed its name in 1959. Along with its sister papers ''The Observer'' and ''The Guardian Weekly'', ''The Guardian'' is part of the Guardian Media Group, owned by the Scott Trust. The trust was created in 1936 to "secure the financial and editorial independence of ''The Guardian'' in perpetuity and to safeguard the journalistic freedom and liberal values of ''The Guardian'' free from commercial or political interference".
