Jyesthimalla
Vajra-musti (Sanskrit:, "thunder fist" or "diamond fist") refers to a "fist-load, knuckleduster-like" weapon and also a form of Indian wrestling in which the weapon is employed. The weapon is sometimes called ''Indra-musti'' which means Indra's fist. The vajramusti is usually made of ivory or buffalo horn. Its appearance is that of a brass knuckles, knuckleduster, slightly pointed at the sides, with small spikes at the knuckles. The variety used for warfare had long blades protruding from each end, and an elaborate bladed knuckle. History The first literary mention of vajra-musti comes from the ''Manasollasa'' of the Chalukya king Someshvara III, Someswara III (1124–1138), although it has been conjectured to have existed since as early as the Maurya Empire, Maurya dynasty. Jetti Veera Raghavulu
Jetti Veera Raghavulu (1931 – 7 June 2013), better known as J. V. Raghavulu, was an eminent Indian music director and playback singer. He started as playback singer and became a music director after the sudden death of Ghantasala. He made his screen debut in ''Drohi'' (1970), a film by Suresh Productions. He scored music to about 172 films. Career He belonged to an agricultural family in Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari district. His parents were Veeraswami Naidu and Adilaxmi. He was one of the six siblings. He learned acting and singing from Bhadracharyulu who used to organize Harischandra play. He gave him chance to act as Lohitasudu in the play. He used to study in the school and act in the plays touring different places. Famous poets Indraganti Hanumachastri and Vedula Satyanarayana Sastry were his school teachers. Jetti Geeta Reddy
Jetti Geeta Reddy (born 1947) is an Indian gynecologist and politician of the Indian National Congress. She served as member of the Telangana Legislative Assembly representing the Zahirabad constituency of Sangareddy district from 2014 to 2018. She is the working president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee since July 2021. Reddy has been a minister in the cabinets of various governments. She was also leader of the INC in the legislative assembly during the government of Konijeti Rosaiah. Early life Geeta Reddy is the daughter of Eshwari Bai, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and President of the Republican Party of India. She studied medicine at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad and became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London in 1989. Career Reddy worked as a gynaecologist. Kamma (caste)
Kamma is a Hindu caste from South India. The community of Kammas is believed to have originated from agriculturists of the ''Kammanadu'' region of the Guntur and Prakasam districts in Andhra Pradesh.
