Jetta Berrill
Jetta Berrill (born 31 January 1994) is an Irish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Peamount United. She has been a member of the Republic of Ireland women's national team. Club career In June 2010, 16-year-old Berrill debuted for Albion Rovers, a club from her native Monasterboice in County Louth. Despite Berrill scoring twice, Rovers lost the match 4–2 to Templeogue. Berrill made her first Women's National League (WNL) appearances for Peamount United in 2012–13, before she joined UCD Waves in 2014. In 2017 Berrill left UCD Waves and moved to Hungary to train as a veterinarian. She briefly returned to the WNL when she played for DLR Waves during her 2019 summer vacation. After completing her Hungarian vet studies in June 2021, Berrill re-joined DLR Waves. She quickly recovered her best form, scoring four goals in four games. 2013 Summer Universiade
The 2013 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXVII Summer Universiade (russian: XXVII Летняя Универсиада), was held in the city of Kazan, Russia, the most northerly city ever to host a Summer Universiade. Over 10,400 university athletes from 162 countries participated in 13 mandatory and 14 optional sports, making the 2013 Universiade the biggest ever in the history of the event. For the first time in history a Cultural Universiade was also included, with many festivals and shows held simultaneously with the sporting events. The Universiade was organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and by the authorities of the Russian Federation. A penalty shot or penalty kick is a play used in several sports whereby a goal is attempted during untimed play. Depending on the sport, when a player commits certain types of penalties, the opposition is awarded a penalty shot or kick attempt. Tallaght Stadium ( ga, Staid Thamhlachta) is an association football stadium in the Republic of Ireland based in Tallaght, South Dublin. The club Shamrock Rovers originally announced details of the stadium in July, 1996. The stadium is now owned and operated by South Dublin County Council with Shamrock Rovers as the anchor tenants. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
