Jesús Gallardo (actor)
Jesús Daniel Gallardo Vasconcelos (born 15 August 1994) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a left-back or left-winger for Liga MX club Toluca and the Mexico national team. Club career Youth Gallardo began his career at 15 years old with Once Hermanos from 2009, until making the switch to Jaguares de la 48 in 2011, and ultimately getting the attention of first division team Club Universidad Nacional. From there, in 2013, he joined Pumas UNAM youth academy, successfully going through the U-20 team and Pumas Morelos. UNAM In 2014, Gallardo was eventually promoted to the first team by coach Guillermo Vázquez. The Mexico national football team () represents Mexico in international football and is governed by the Mexican Football Federation (). It competes as a member of CONCACAF. 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup Squads
The 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup was an international football tournament held in the United States from 10 July to 1 August 2021. The sixteen participating national teams were required to register a squad of 23 players, of which three have to be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. Each national team had to submit a provisional list of up to sixty players (including at least four goalkeepers) to CONCACAF no later than thirty days prior to the start of the tournament and no players could be added after the specified deadline. The final list of 23 players per national team had to be submitted to CONCACAF by 1 July 2021, ten days before the opening match of the tournament. Club de Fútbol Tigres de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, simply known as Tigres UANL or Tigres, is a Mexican professional football club based in San Nicolás de los Garza, a city in the Monterrey metropolitan area, Nuevo León. Clásico Regiomontano
Clásico Regiomontano, Clásico Regio, Clásico del Norte or Clásico Norteño is a football derby in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, between crosstown rival teams Monterrey and Tigres. Since the first Clásico in 1974, the two teams have competed over 100 times for bragging rights and city honour. It is known for being one of the most intensely competed derbies in Mexican football, even being regarded by people in the city of Monterrey and Northern Mexico as the most important Mexican derby. The match is the biggest game of the season in Monterrey, and every year, fans wait in line for days outside the stadium just to get tickets, which are often priced at two or three times their regular value. The Apertura 2018 Copa MX Final was the final of the Apertura 2018 Copa MX, the thirteenth edition of the Copa MX under its current format and 80th overall organized by the Mexican Football Federation, the governing body of association football in Mexico. The Apertura 2018 Copa MX was the 80th staging of the Copa MX, the 52nd staging in the professional era and is the thirteenth tournament played since the 1996–97 edition. The tournament started on 24 July 2018 and ended on 31 October 2018. A total of 24 teams competed in the group stage to decide the eight places in the knockout stage of the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League. Copa MX
The Copa MX (formerly called Copa Tower Monterrey, Copa Eliminatoria, Copa México and Copa Corona MX (for sponsorship reasons)) was a Mexican football cup competition that was established in 1907. After a lengthy hiatus that began in 1997, it was restored in 2012. On early editions of the cup, it consisted of both professional and amateur stages. It was the first official tournament that included teams from different parts of Mexico and was considered a prestigious tournament, especially during its earlier years of existence. The original purpose of the competition was to determine a national champion, thus distinguishing it from the local league championship. Guillermo Vázquez
Guillermo Alejandro Vázquez Herrera (born May 25, 1967, in Mexico City) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. Vázquez debuted for Pumas UNAM during the 1984–85 season. He has also played for Tecos, Monterrey, Toros Neza and Pachuca. He was an experienced midfielder who ensured a calm and controlled midfield. Management career Vázquez began as an interim coach for Pumas UNAM after Miguel España was sacked. Vázquez coached the last five matches of the Clausura 2006 with two victories, two draws, and one loss. For the Apertura 2006 Pumas UNAM hired Ricardo Ferretti and Vázquez became his assistant coach.
