Jesus Merino
Jesús Merino (born 1965) is a Spanish comic book artist, best known in the American comic industry for his collaborations with penciller Carlos Pacheco. Merino himself raised from the ''Línea Laberinto'' of ''Planeta-DeAgostini'' Spanish publisher, where he drew three mini-series: ''Aníbal Gris'' (1996), ''Jaque Mate'' (1997) and ''Triada Vértice'' (1998). In 1998 he began to work with Pacheco, inking his layouts on titles such as ''Avengers Forever'', ''Superman/Batman'' and ''Green Lantern''. Merino's work on DC included art for many issues of ''Justice Society of America'', vol. 3 and a ''Superman/Batman'' story. In September 2011, DC launched a new Superman series written by George Pérez with art by Pérez and Merino. Cádiz
Cádiz (, , ) is a city and port in southwestern Spain. It is the capital of the Province of Cádiz, one of eight that make up the autonomous community of Andalusia. Green Lantern (comic Book)
''Green Lantern'' is an ongoing American comic-book series featuring the DC Comics heroes of the Green Lantern, same name. The character's first incarnation, Alan Scott, appeared in ''All-American Comics'' #16 (July 1940), and was later spun off into the first volume of ''Green Lantern'' in 1941. After 38 issues, that series was cancelled in 1949. When the Silver Age Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, was introduced, the character starred in a new volume of ''Green Lantern'' starting in 1960. Although ''Green Lantern'' is considered a mainstay in the DC Comics stable, the series has been cancelled and rebooted several times. The first series featuring Hal Jordan was cancelled at issue #224, but was restarted with a third volume and a new #1 issue in June 1990. When sales began slipping in the early 1990s, DC Comics instituted a controversial editorial mandate that turned Jordan into the supervillain Parallax (comics), Parallax and created a new protagonist named Kyle Rayner.
