Jestem
Poland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Jestem" written and performed by Magdalena Tul. The Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) organised the national final ''Krajowe Eliminacje 2011'' in order to select the Polish entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. The national final took place on 14 February 2011 and featured ten entries. "Jestem" performed by Magdalena Tul was selected as the winner after gaining the most votes from the public with 59,984 votes. Poland was drawn to compete in the first semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2011. Performing as the opening entry for the show in position 1, "Jestem" was not announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore did not qualify to compete in the final. Magdalena Tul
Magdalena Ewa Tul (born 29 April 1980) is a Polish singer and composer. In 2000 she moved from Gdańsk to Warsaw where she started working as a singer and actress for Studio Buffo, a musical theater. She performed there as a lead singer in ''Metro''. Three years later, she started working with another musical theater, Roma. She performed there in the musicals ''Miss Saigon'', '' Grease'', ''Cats'' and ''Academy of Mister Kleks''. Edyta Anna Górniak (; born 14 November 1972) is a Polish pop singer with a career spanning 3 decades. Górniak started as a musical theatre actress in 1990. Ada Fijał
Ada Fijał (born 20 October 1976) is a Polish television actor and singer. She was unsuccessful in a bid to represent Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011. She did appear in the Polish version of ''Dancing with the Stars''. Life Fijał was born in 1976 in Kraków. She first qualified in dentistry at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków before training in acting and performing. TVP HD is a special High Definition version of the Polish public broadcasting channels (Telewizja Polska). A digital terrestrial multiplex carrying the channel was available in Warsaw, Poznań, Zielona Góra, Żagań, Kraków, Leżajsk and Krosno from the 6 to 25 August 2008. It was launched in August 2008. OGAE
The (OGAE) () is a non-governmental and non-profit international organisation, consisting of 42 Eurovision Song Contest fan clubs from across Europe and beyond. It was founded in 1984 in Savonlinna, Finland by Jaripekka Koikkalainen.
