Jessica Stojkovski
Jessica Mary Christine Stojkovski (née O'Gorman, born 18 October 1981) is an Australian politician. She has been a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since the 2017 state election, representing Kingsley, which takes in the areas of Kingsley, Woodvale, Greenwood, Hamersley and Warwick. Personal life Stojkovski is the daughter of former Labor MP Tony O'Gorman, who previously represented Joondalup in the State Parliament from 2001 to 2013. Jessica Stojkovski worked as a town planner before entering politics. She also served as president of the Landsdale Residents Association as well as on the boards of numerous primary schools. Stojkovski is a sponsor of 10 local sporting clubs. Jessica Stojkovski lives in Woodvale with her husband Siljan and two children. She grew up in Beldon and Joondalup, where she attended Eddystone Primary School and Sacred Heart College. The Western Australian Legislative Assembly, or lower house, is one of the two chambers of the Parliament of Western Australia, an Australian state. The Parliament sits in Parliament House in the Western Australian capital, Perth. The Legislative Assembly today has 59 members, elected for four-year terms from single-member electoral districts. Members are elected using the preferential voting system. As with all other Australian states and territories, voting is compulsory for all Australian citizens over the legal voting age of 18. History The Division was named after George Fletcher Moore, the first Advocate-General of Western Australia, and is at present a safe Liberal seat held by Ian Goodenough since the 2013 federal election, having changed significantly throughout its history in both geographical area and in political character. Due to significant demographic change, the seat's boundaries and constituency has evolved considerably since it was proclaimed at the 11 May 1949 redistribution. Joondalup Health Campus
Joondalup Health Campus is the largest health care facility in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The 722-bed hospital has featured combined public and private services since 1996. In March 2013, the new Joondalup Private Hospital opened next to the existing hospital, within the same campus. The public and private hospitals share the emergency department, operating theatres and intensive care facilities.
