Jessica Sedunary
Jessica Sedunary (born 10 November 1990) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the West Coast Eagles in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She has previously played for the Adelaide Football Club from 2017 to 2019 and 2021 to 2022 (S6) and the St Kilda Football Club in 2020. Early life Sedunary grew up in Minlaton on the Yorke Peninsula. Originally her sport of choice was hockey, which forced her to drives to Adelaide and back every week for games and training. Her family moved to Adelaide when she was in high school, and she switched to cycling within weeks when the South Australian Sports Institute saw her potential. She went on to represent Australia in the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival in cycling. After a year of study at university Sedunary was forced to drop her studies and her cycling due to financial constraints. Sedunary first played football accidentally. Morphettville Park Football Club
The Morphettville Park Football Club is a sports club first formed in 1958 and initial games were against sides who had forfeits or byes. The club is mostly known for their Australian rules football team, which joined the Glenelg-South-West District Football Association A2 Division in 1959. Other sports practised at Morphettville Park are cricket and netball. Australian Football League
The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Originally known as the Victorian Football League (VFL), it was founded in 1896 as a breakaway competition from the Victorian Football Association (VFA), with its inaugural season commencing the following year. Carrara Stadium
Carrara Stadium (known commercially as Metricon Stadium) is a stadium on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Carrara. The stadium is primarily used for Australian rules football, serving as the home ground of the Gold Coast Suns, who compete in the Australian Football League.
