Henry Jessey
Henry Jessey or Jacie (1603 in West Rowton, Yorkshire – 1663) was one of many English Dissenters. He was a founding member of the Puritan religious sect, the Jacobites. Jessey was considered a Hebrew and a rabbinical scholar. His active philosemitism has led him to be described as "among Israel's greatest seventeenth-century benefactors." Life Jessey attended the University of Cambridge from 1618–24; he was at St. John's College, Cambridge in 1622, B. A. Jessey Voorn (born 17 March 1990 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch professional basketball player who last played for Heroes Den Bosch. Voorn is 6 ft 4 tall and plays the shooting guard position. Professional career Voorn started his professional career with ABC Amsterdam in 2007, where he was mainly on the bench at first. With Amsterdam he won the Dutch championship in 2009. When the club was forced to play without foreign players, Voorn got major minutes with ABC. In the 2010-11 season Voorn averaged 13.7 points per game in the Dutch Basketball League. After his break-out season, the club from Amsterdam went bankrupt and Voorn went to Groningen to play for the GasTerra Flames. After the 2013–14 season, Voorn left Groningen. Jessey Wade (2 December 1859 – 1952) was an English suffragist and campaigner for animal welfare, known for founding the Cats Protection League (now known as Cats Protection). She co-founded a number of other animal welfare organisations and helped create and was editor of the feminist gender studies journal ''Urania (journal), Urania''.
