Jesse Jyrkkiö
Jesse Jyrkkiö (born June 29, 1989) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently a free agent having last played for GKS Katowice in the Polska Hokej Liga. He has previously played in the Finnish Liiga with Ässät and Tappara. Prior to the 2014–15 season, Jyrkkiö signed his first contract abroad in agreeing to a try-out contract with Austrian club, Graz 99ers in the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL) on September 10, 2014. His father, Juha Jyrkkiö, played for FoPS, Jokerit, Ässät and HPK Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho (HPK) is a professional ice hockey team in the Liiga, the top men's ice hockey league in Finland. Porin Ässät (; Finnish language, Finnish for ''Pori Aces'' or ''Aces of Pori'') is a professional ice hockey club based in the town of Pori, Finland. They play in the Finnish elite league, Liiga. They play in the Porin jäähalli, Isomäki Areena. The team is also referred to as Pata and The Red Machine of Pori (''Porin Punakone''). Helsingin Jokerit (English: Jokers or Jesters) are a professional ice hockey team based in Helsinki, Finland. The team won six league championships as a member of the Finnish SM-liiga (1973, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, and 2002). Jokerit plays its home games at Helsinki Halli. FPS (full name: Forssan Palloseura) is a Finnish ice hockey team based in Forssa Ice Hall (capacity 3000), Forssa, established in 1931.
