Eckhard Jesse
Eckhard Jesse (born 16 July 1948 in Wurzen, Saxony) is a German political scientist. He held the chair for "political systems and political institutions" at the Technical University of Chemnitz from 1993 to 2014. Jesse is one of the best known German political scholars in the field of extremism and terrorism studies. He has also specialized in the study of German political parties and the German political system. Together with Uwe Backes, director of the Hannah Arendt Institute for the Research on Totalitarianism, he has edited the ''Yearbook Extremism & Democracy'' since 1989; it has become a classic for terrorism scholars. Edward Jesse
Edward Jesse (January 14, 1780 – March 28, 1868), English writer on natural history, was born at Hutton Cranswick, Yorkshire, where his father was vicar of the parish. He became clerk in a government office in 1798, and for a time was secretary to Lord Dartmouth, when president of the Board of Control. In 1812 he was appointed commissioner of hackney coaches, and later he became deputy surveyor-general of the royal parks and palaces. On the abolition of this office he retired on a pension, and he died at Brighton. John Heneage Jesse
John Heneage Jesse (1809 – 7 July 1874), English historian, son of Edward Jesse, was educated at Eton and became a clerk in the secretary's department of the Admiralty. His poem on Mary, Queen of Scots was published about 1831, and was followed by a collection of poems entitled ''Tales of the Dead''. He also wrote a drama, '' Richard III'', and a fragmentary poem entitled ''London''. None of these ventures achieved any success, but his numerous historical works are written with vivacity and interest, and, in their own style, are an important contribution to the history of England. John John Jesse (born 1969) is an illustrative painter from New York City's Lower East Side in the Juxtapoz gonzo-pop vein. He often shows with artists like Esao Andrews.
