Jesper Asselman (born 12 March 1990) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2020, for the , , , and teams. 2019 Tour De Yorkshire
The 2019 Tour de Yorkshire was a four-day cycling stage race held in Yorkshire over 2–5 May 2019. It was the fifth edition of the Tour de Yorkshire, organised by Welcome to Yorkshire and the Amaury Sport Organisation. The race was rated as a 2.HC event as part of the UCI Europe Tour. The race started in Doncaster on 2 May and finished in Leeds on the 5 May. It was broadcast on ITV. History The race was originally created unter the name Omloop der Vlaamse Ardennen (''English'': Tour of the Flemish Ardennes) in 1945 as a one-day race. Le Samyn
Le Samyn is an annual single-day road bicycle race in Belgium, held usually in late February or early March. The event was created in 1968 as ''Grand Prix de Fayt-le-Franc'', named after the former municipality where it started and finished. In 1970 it was renamed ''Grand Prix José Samyn'' as a tribute to José Samyn, the race's first winner who died in a race accident in 1969. Johan Capiot holds the record with three wins.
