Jerzy Opara
Jerzy Janusz Opara (born 21 July 1948) is a Polish sprint canoeist who competed in the 1970s. He was born in Warsaw. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal in the C-2 500 m event at Montreal in 1976. The ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships are an international event in canoe racing, one of two Summer Olympic sport events organized by the International Canoe Federation (the other being the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships).
