Jerritt Elliott
Jerritt Kurt Elliott (born April 28, 1968) is an American volleyball head coach of the Texas Longhorns volleyball, Texas Longhorns women's volleyball team since 2001. Personal life Elliott is a native of California and graduated from Palisades Charter High School, Palisades High School in Pacific Palisades, California, where he was a high school standout in volleyball. He was teammates with Olympic Games, Olympic gold medalist Kent Steffes and led his high school team to an undefeated 36-0 record during his senior year. After high school, he played men's volleyball at both Pepperdine University, Pepperdine from 1986-1988 and University of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawai'i from 1989-1990 before graduating from Cal State Northridge in 1991 with a degree in kinesiology. 2022 Texas Longhorns Volleyball Team
The 2022 Texas Longhorns volleyball team represented the University of Texas in the 2022 NCAA Division I women's volleyball season. The Texas Longhorns women's volleyball team, led by 22nd year head coach Jerritt Elliott, played their home games at Gregory Gymnasium. The Longhorns were members of the Big 12. The Longhorns won their 6th straight Big 12 Championship, 15th overall, going 15–1 in conference play. Texas defeated Louisville 3–0 to win the team's 3rd NCAA Title and 4th National Title overall. April Ross
April Elizabeth Ross (born June 20, 1982) is an American beach volleyball player and three-time Olympic medalist. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics with Jennifer Kessy, a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics with Kerri Walsh Jennings, and a gold medal at 2020 Summer Olympics with Alix Klineman. Ross and Kessy were also the 2009 Beach Volleyball World Champions. She married Men’s Beach Volleyball player Bradley Keenan in 2010. They divorced in 2018. Mick Haley
Mick Haley (born August 18, 1943) is an American volleyball coach. He previously served for 17 seasons as the head coach of the University of Southern California women's volleyball team. He has also coached the U.S. Women's National Team at the Olympics. Prior to this he served for 17 years as the head coach of the University of Texas women's volleyball team. Early life Haley was a setter at Ball State under legendary coach Don Shondell and helped the Cardinals to the 1964 and 1965 MIVA title. Lisa Love (coach)
Lisa Love is the former athletic director of Arizona State University. At the time Love was one of only three female athletic directors in a Division I FBS Bowl Equity Conference of the NCAA. Love began her administrative career at USC. Prior to becoming an administrator, Love served as the volleyball head coach at the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Southern California, leading her teams to the NCAA Division I Volleyball Tournament 13 times. In 2005, she was inducted into the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Hall of Fame. Kent Steffes
Kent Steffes (born June 23, 1968 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is a former professional beach volleyball player. Steffes received his AAA beach rating while still attending Palisades High School. He was named the 1986 National High School Player of the Year and was the nation's most highly recruited high school senior. In 1987 with partner Forrest Smith he won the World Championships in San Diego. He enrolled at Stanford University and played for one season before transferring to UCLA where he graduated with a degree in Economics. While a Bruin he joined the AVP Tour full-time in 1988. Steffes earned the AVP No. 1 ranking at age 22, the youngest player to do so in the history of the sport.
