Jeroen Van Wetten
Jeroen van Wetten (2 January 1980) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a forward. Football career ADO Den Haag and RBC Roosendaal As a professional, Van Wetten played one season for ADO Den Haag (2000–01) and two seasons for RBC Roosendaal (2001–03). The last season at RBC, when Van Wetten played the most league games in his professional career, RBC played in the Eredivisie. For RBC, Van Wetten was especially valuable in the KNVB Cup, scoring three goals. In 2003, Van Wetten negotiated a transfer with Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja from Iceland. The sides did not come to an agreement. Noordwijk, DOTO, ASWH and BVV Van Wetten continued to VV Noordwijk (2003–05) and DOTO Pernis (2005–07). On 26 August 2006, Van Wetten scoared the 80th minute sole and decisive goal in a DOTO 2006–07 KNVB Cup game against GVVV. Leiderdorp () is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland near the city of Leiden. It had a population of in . The 2006–07 KNVB Cup was the 89th edition of the tournament. The competition started on 26 August 2006 and the final was held on 6 May 2007 at the Feyenoord Stadion in Rotterdam. Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. The Vierde Divisie, formerly known as Hoofdklasse () is the second-highest league of amateur football in the Netherlands, and the fifth tier in general. Background The league is divided into two sections: Saturday and Sunday. This is a result of the traditional pillarisation ( nl, verzuiling), the segregation of Dutch society.
