Jermarcus Hardrick
Jermarcus "Yoshi" Hardrick (born May 30, 1990) is a professional gridiron football offensive lineman for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a Grey Cup champion as a member of the 107th Grey Cup champions and is a two-time West Division All-Star receiving the honour in 2017 and 2021. He played college football for the Fort Scott Greyhounds before joining the Nebraska Cornhuskers football, Nebraska Cornhuskers for two years to finish his college playing eligibility. Professional career NFL Hardrick was originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on May 7, 2012. He played in three preseason games, but was released with the final cuts on August 31, 2012. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. Lambeau Leap
The Lambeau Leap is a touchdown celebration in American football in which a player leaps into the bleachers behind the end zone after scoring. The celebration was popularized after Green Bay Packers player LeRoy Butler jumped into the Lambeau Field bleachers after scoring a touchdown from a fumble recovery against the Los Angeles Raiders on December 26, 1993. The celebration has remained popular ever since, even as the National Football League tightened rules on touchdown celebrations in the early 2000s. Some safety concerns have been noted by players and staff, including inappropriate touching by fans and the possibility of an injury to the player leaping into the bleachers. IG Field (formerly Investors Group Field) is an outdoor stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The stadium, which opened in 2013, is located on the University of Manitoba campus next to University Stadium. The 2011 Winnipeg Blue Bombers was the 54th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 79th overall. The Blue Bombers finished in 1st place in the East Division with a 10–8 record. The team clinched their first playoff berth since 2008 on October 7, 2011, after a 33–17 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. On November 20, 2011, The Blue Bombers defeated the Tiger-Cats 19–3 in the East Final, advancing to the 99th Grey Cup and extending their Grey Cup appearances record to 24. 2016 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Season
The 2016 Winnipeg Blue Bombers season was the 59th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 84th season overall. The Blue Bombers finished in 3rd place in the West Division and finished with an 11–7 record; their first winning season since 2011. The Blue Bombers successfully improved upon their 5–13 record from 2015, after defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Labour Day Classic on September 4. It was their first win in the Classic since 2004. The Blue Bombers qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2011 with a week 16 victory over the BC Lions followed by losses by the Toronto Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes two days afterward. The Montreal Alouettes (Canadian French, French: Les Alouettes de Montréal) are a professional Canadian football team based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1946, the team has folded and been revived twice.
