Jeremy Shafer
Jeremy Shafer is an American professional entertainer and origamist based in Berkeley, California. He has been folding origami since he was ten. He creates his own origami designs which tend to be whimsical and unique, such as his "Man Swatter", "BARF Bag" and his working origami household items, like his "Nail Clippers" and his awesome "Swiss Army Knife". Shafer is sometimes billed as Jeremy the Juggler, and his stunts include folding a burning origami bird, riding a flaming unicycle, and juggling torches. Personal life Jeremy Shafer grew up in Berkeley, California. He went to high school at Berkeley High School and graduated in 1991. He attended college at the University of California, Santa Cruz and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Berkeley ( ) is a city on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay in northern Alameda County, California, United States. Camp Winnarainbow
Camp Winnarainbow is a circus and performing arts camp for all ages, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization co-founded by American entertainer and peace activist Wavy Gravy and his wife Bonnie Beecher. Wavy, Bonnie and Txi Whizz jointly co-directed the camp. The camp adjoins the Hog Farm commune near Laytonville, California. Activities Classes that campers can attend include aerials (trapeze, silks and Spanish web), juggling, improvisation, tightrope, gymnastics, acting/drama, unicycle, stilt walking, clowning and clown philosophy, art and magic. Campers are given free choice as to which classes they want to attend on a daily basis, with two mandatory periods offered in the morning and optional classes offered at free time in the afternoon.
