Jeremy Schloss
Jeremy Schloss (born 18 September 1973) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Gold Coast Seagulls and North Queensland Cowboys. He represented Queensland in the 1997 State of Origin series. He shares in the ownership of racehorses the "Boom Brothers" alongside Andrew Dunemann . Playing career Schloss made his debut for Gold Coast in round 22 1994 against Eastern Suburbs. Schloss spent 4 years at the club as they struggled towards the bottom of the ladder but shocked everyone in 1997 by qualifying for the finals. This was the first and only time any of the Gold Coast sides had made the finals. Gold Coast went on to win their elimination final against Illawarra but were knocked out the following week by Eastern Suburbs. Gold Coast Seagulls
The Gold Coast Chargers were a professional rugby league club which played in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership from 1988 to 1994, the Australian Rugby League premiership from 1995 to 1997, and the National Rugby League premiership in 1998. They first played under the name Gold Coast-Tweed Giants (in silver, black and white colours) from 1988 to 1989, then Gold Coast Seagulls (wearing white, black and red) from 1990 to 1995, very briefly as the Gold Coast Gladiators and finally Gold Coast Chargers (in jade, black, purple and gold uniforms) from 1996 to 1998. The Gold Coast-Tweed Giants were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League premiership for the 1988 season, along with the Brisbane Broncos and Newcastle Knights.
