Jeremy Kapinos
Jeremy D. Kapinos (born August 23, 1984) is a former American football punter. He was first signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Penn State. Kapinos also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts. Early years Born an Army brat, Kapinos moved from city to city before his family settled in Springfield, Virginia. He was named All-Met while at West Springfield High School (Virginia), in Springfield, Virginia, where his coach was former Green Bay Packers punter Bill Renner. A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. The 2009 NFL season was the 90th season in the history of the National Football League (NFL).
