Robinson Muteba Kasao (17 January 1986) commonly known as Jerahyo, is a Zambian music promoter and radio personality. In 2022, he won the Zambian Music Promoter of the year award. Music career Jerahyo first rose to fame in 2017 and went viral with the cartoon production of Zakado the Boxer and currently the co- executive producer of the Commercial Animation series Ama Jazzi which received presidential recognition twice from President Edgar Lungu. In 2021, he led the initiative to the first ever fill up of Woodlands stadium. In February 2021, he was appointed as promoter of Nexus Music, Zambia's largest music production company. Xaven The Kopala Queen
Rachel Chakwa Mwewa commonly known as Xaven The Kopala Queen is a Zambian rapper and singer. In 2022, she won the Zambian Female Artist of the Year at the Diamond TV personality award, becoming the first female artist from the Copperbelt to win the award. Career Xaven began her music career at a young age. However, she became a noticeable figure in Zambian music after releasing a single title “Ndine woloweshe” and “Adedesha” among others, which propelled her to the Zambian Female artist of the year award. Edgar Lungu
Edgar Chagwa Lungu (born 11 November 1956) is a Zambian politician who served as the sixth president of Zambia from 25 January 2015 to 24 August 2021. Under President Michael Sata, Lungu served as Minister of Justice and Minister of Defence. Following Sata's death in October 2014, Lungu was adopted as the candidate of the Patriotic Front in a Convention of the Patriotic Front in Kabwe, for the January 2015 presidential by-election, which was to determine who would serve out the remainder of Sata's term. In the election, he narrowly defeated opposition candidate Hakainde Hichilema and took office on 25 January 2015. Lungu was elected to a full presidential term in the August 2016 election, again narrowly defeating Hichilema. Hichilema initially disputed the election result and filed a case at the Constitutional Court to nullify the result. On 5 September, however, the court dismissed the case. Chanda Na Kay
Chanda Na Kay are a Zambian singing duo based on the Copperbelt. In July 2021, they won the Kwacha Music Award for the best Zambian duo. In December 2022, they won the best duo award at the 8th African Entertainment Annual Awards, becoming the first Zambians to do so. They have also won the Zambezi Music Awards. Copperbelt
The Copperbelt () is a natural region in Central Africa which sits on the border region between northern Zambia and the southern Democratic Republic of Congo. It is known for copper mining. Traditionally, the term ''Copperbelt'' includes the mining regions of Zambia's Copperbelt Province (notably the towns of Ndola, Kitwe, Chingola, Luanshya, and Mufulira in particular) and the Congo's Haut-Katanga and Lualaba provinces (notably Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, and Likasi). In some contexts the term may exclude the Congo entirely. Zambia's Copperbelt became a province soon after independence in 1964, when it was named "Western province".
