Ruben Yttergård Jenssen
Ruben Yttergård Jenssen (born 4 May 1988) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eliteserien club Tromsø, and the Norwegian national team. He was playing regularly for Tromsø in the Tippeligaen since 2008, and became one of the team's most important players before transferring to Kaiserslautern. Early in his career, Jenssen played as a winger, but he has later played as a central midfielder. Jenssen made his international debut for Norway in May 2010, and has since then been a member of the national team, and a regular starter since September 2012. Hans Jørgen Darre-Jenssen (22 June 1864 – 26 June 1950) was a Norwegian engineer and politician for the Free-minded Liberal Party. He was the Minister of Labour from 1910 to 1912, and thereafter served as director of the Norwegian State Railways. Hans Wiers-Jenssen
Hans Wiers-Jenssen (25 November 1866 – 25 August 1925) was a Norwegian novelist, playwright, stage producer and theatre historian. Wiers-Jenssen was employed at the theatres Christiania Theatre, Nationaltheatret and Den Nationale Scene. Personal life Wiers-Jenssen was born in Bergen as the son of colorist Johan Jenssen and his wife Elisa Magdalena Wiers. In 1894 he married Rigmor Nicolowna Danielsen, herself an author of humorous fiction. Together they had the son Johan Henrik Wiers-Jenssen, who was also to become a theater man and author of humorous prose. Career After his ''examen artium'' at the Bergen Cathedral School in 1885, Wiers-Jenssen studied language and cultural history, graduating as Cand.mag. in 1892. Matz Jenssen (30 October 1760 – 12 August 1813) was a Norwegian businessman. Originally a seamaster, Jenssen settled in Throndhjem in 1790. Here, he founded his own trading company ''Jenssen & Co'', which evolved into a trade dynasty in the city. Upon his death in 1813, his wife Anna, née Schjelderup Dorenfeldt (1763–1846) took over. Jens Peter Book-Jenssen (14 November 1910 – 28 March 1999) was a Norwegian singer of popular music, songwriter, revue artist and theatre director. From his stage debut in the early 1930s, his career included radio and television work, recordings, and extensive touring. His career spanned more than sixty years, and he was the top selling record artist in Norway in the 20th century. Personal life Book-Jenssen was born in Bærum as the son of gardener Olaf Jenssen (1874–1949) and Pauline Book (1883–1962), who were born in Hamar and Stockholm respectively. Worm Hirsch Darre-Jenssen
Worm Hirsch Darre-Jenssen (7 December 1870 – 30 April 1945) was a Norwegian engineer and politician for the Conservative Party. He served two terms in the Parliament of Norway, and as Minister of Labour from 1926 to 1928. Career Worm Darre-Jenssen took education in machinery and construction in 1889 and 1890, at the technical school in Trondhjem. From 1890 to 1894 he worked as an assistant in railway construction. From 1894 to 1895 he studied at the Technische Hochschule Hannover. He then worked until 1900 with road administration in Kristians Amt. In 1901 he returned to Trondhjem to supervise the construction of an electricity plant. From 1902 he worked in the city engineer department, from 1913 as chief engineer. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway in 1925, representing the Market towns of Sør-Trøndelag and Nord-Trøndelag counties. Johan Henrik "Johe" Wiers-Jenssen (30 April 1897 – 23 March 1951) was a Norwegian newspaper columnist and theatre director. Biography He was born in Kristiania as the son of novelist, playwright and stage producer Hans Wiers-Jenssen (1866–1925) and author Rigmor Nicolowna Danielsen (1874-1934). Wiers-Jenssen was columnist for ''Aftenposten'' from 1917 to 1925, signing with the pseudonyms ''Johe'' and ''Gamin''. He was manager of the cabaret Chat Noir in Oslo from 1926 to 1934, theatre director at the National Theatre from 1934 to 1935, and again manager of Chat Noir from 1935 to 1951. He issued the collection ''Gamins epistler'' in 1921. His book ''Hva jeg vet om kvinden'' (What I Know About the Woman, 1932) consisted of 100 empty pages in nice leather binding.
