Jenny Suen
Jenny Suen (born December 9, 1983) is a Hong Kong screenwriter, film producer, and director. She last co-directed ''The White Girl'' (2017) with the Australian-Hong Kong cinematographer Christopher Doyle, which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. She also produced Doyle's ''Hong Kong Trilogy'' (2015), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Early life and education Suen was born and raised in Hong Kong. At eighteen, she moved to the United States to study at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature, Political Science, East Asian Languages and Civilisation, and a Master of Arts in East Asian Languages and Civilisation. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, and was named Dean's Scholar, a distinction only given to nine members of her class. Sun Zhenni (; born May 5, 2000 in Shanghai, China) is a Chinese singer and actress. She is a member of Team HII of the Chinese idol group SNH48, as well as its sub-units, Color Girls and Style-7. Early life Sun was born on May 5, 2000 in the Hongkou District of Shanghai, China. She was introduced to SNH48 by a friend, and successfully auditioned to join the group while still a student at the Shanghai Paddington Bi-Lingual School. The Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) is a worldwide organization of 29 member countries. It was created as the result of a conference on Asian cinema organized by Cinemaya, the Asian Film Quarterly, in New Delhi in 1990 at the instance and with the support of UNESCO, Paris. Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival
The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (), or BiFan, is an international film festival held annually in July in Bucheon, South Korea. Prior to 2015, it was known as the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival or PiFan. Inaugurated in 1997, the festival focuses on South Korean and international horror, thriller, mystery and fantasy films, with particular attention to Asian cinema from East Asia and Southeast Asia. ''Daisies'' ( cs, Sedmikrásky) is a 1966 Czechoslovakian surrealist comedy-drama film written and directed by Věra Chytilová. Regarded as a milestone of the Czechoslovak New Wave movement, it follows two young women (Jitka Cerhová and Ivana Karbanová), both named Marie, who engage in strange pranks. Originally planned as a satire of bourgeois decadence, the movie targets those attached to rules and was referred to by Chytilová as "a necrologue about a negative way of life." The Czechoslovak New Wave (also Czech New Wave) is a term used for the Czechoslovak filmmakers who started making movies in the 1960s. The directors commonly included are Miloš Forman, Věra Chytilová, Ivan Passer, Pavel Juráček, Jiří Menzel, Jan Němec, Jaromil Jireš, Evald Schorm, Hynek Bočan, Juraj Herz, Juraj Jakubisko, Štefan Uher and others. Věra Chytilová (2 February 1929 – 12 March 2014) was an avant-garde Czech film director and pioneer of Czech cinema. Banned by the Czechoslovak government in the 1960s, she is best known for her Czech New Wave film, ''Sedmikrásky'' ('' Daisies'').
