Jenny Guerrero
Jenny Rose Guerrero (born October 10, 1984) is a Filipino former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. She represented the Philippines, as the youngest ever athlete of the squad (aged 14), at the 2000 Summer Olympics, in Sydney. She won two medals at the 2001 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, and later became a top 8 finalist at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea before her official retirement in 2005. Career Started her sporting career at the age of eight, Guerrero trained for the Alabang Gators Swim Team in Muntinlupa under her longtime coach and mentor Anthony Lozada, before she rose to a worldwide fame at the age of fourteen. Guerrero competed in a breaststroke double at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She achieved FINA B-standards of 1:13.04 (100 m breaststroke) and 2:36.90 (200 m breaststroke) from the Southeast Asian Games in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. LA84 Foundation
The LA84 Foundation (known until June 2007 as the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles) is a private, nonprofit institution created by the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee to manage Southern California's endowment from the 1984 Olympic Games. Under an agreement made in 1979, 40 percent of any surplus was to stay in Southern California, with the other 60 percent going to the United States Olympic Committee. The total surplus was $232.5 million. Southern California's share was approximately $93 million. Nicolette Teo Wei Min (Teo Wei-min, ; born 19 April 1986) is a Singaporean swimmer who specializes in breaststroke. High school Nicolette was a former student at Methodist Girls' School in Singapore. Nicolette represented Mission Viejo High School in the California Interscholastic Federation's swimming tournament. She finished second in the 100 yard Breast clocking in a time of 1:02.17 and finished 4th in the 200 yard IM event with the time of 2:04:79. She also topped the long course times for the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke events. College Teo swam for the University of California, Los Angeles. Nicolette earned All-American honors at the NCAA Championships as a member of the 400 m Medley Relay team that placed 13th. She also placed 22nd and 29th in the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke events respectively in the same tournament.
