Jennifer Johnson (golfer)
Jennifer Jean Johnson (born August 2, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Johnson was born in San Diego, California. She played one year of college golf at Arizona State University. She was an All-American as a freshman, then turned professional. She played on several winning U.S. amateur teams: Junior Ryder Cup in 2008, Junior Solheim Cup in 2009, and Curtis Cup in 2010. She lost to Jennifer Song in the 2009 U.S. Women's Amateur final. Johnson turned professional in 2010. She won her first professional tournament at the 2013 Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. In 2017, she became an assistant coach of the Cal State San Marcos men's golf team. Mobile Bay LPGA Classic
The Airbus LPGA Classic was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, played in Mobile, Alabama from 2008 to 2014. The event debuted in September 2008 at the Magnolia Grove location on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, with total prize money of $1.4 million. Angela Stanford won the inaugural edition by one stroke over Shanshan Feng, which was televised on Golf Channel in the U.S., as well as internationally. The tournament was not played in 2009, but was revived in 2010 and moved to mid-May. Heavy rains and lightning delayed and ultimately canceled the final round, resulting in a sudden-death playoff between the three 54-hole leaders: Se Ri Pak, Brittany Lincicome, and Suzann Pettersen. 2010 Curtis Cup
The 36th Curtis Cup Match was played from June 11 to 13, 2010 at Essex County Club in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. The United States won 12 to 7. The Great Britain and Ireland team led 3 to 2 after the first day but the Americans won all 6 matches on the second day and, with the singles matches being shared, won comfortably. The Great Britain and Ireland team included 15-year-old twins, Lisa and Leona Maguire. Format The contest was a three-day competition, with three foursomes and three fourball matches on each of the first two days, and eight singles matches on the final day, a total of 20 points. Jessica Regina Korda ( cs, Jessica Kordová) (born February 27, 1993) is an Czech-American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Korda was a member of the 2009 U.S. Junior Solheim Cup and the 2010 U.S. Curtis Cup teams. As an amateur, she won the 2010 South Atlantic Amateur and made the cut at the 2008 and 2009 U.S. Women's Opens. The 2013 LPGA Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The Tour began in Australia on February 14 and ended on November 24 in Florida. Jennifer Song (born December 20, 1989) is a professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour. In 2009, she won both the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links and the U.S. Women's Amateur.
