Willimantic is a city located in the town of Windham, Connecticut, Windham in Windham County, Connecticut, United States. It is a former Census-designated place and Borough (Connecticut), borough, and is currently organized as one of two Local government in Connecticut#Special tax and service districts, tax districts within the Town of Windham. Known as "Thread City" for the American Thread Company's mills along the Willimantic River, it was a center of the textile industry in the 19th century. Synopsis The series' plot is about Richard DeMorra (played by Richard Grieco), a carpenter who travels to Hawaii to claim the estate of his estranged father after his father's death. Most of the father's estate was instead willed to his widow, Kimba (Gates McFadden). To claim his share of the estate, DeMorra must travel and redeem "markers": tokens distributed by his father which correspond to good deeds.
