Jennifer Grout (born May 21, 1990) is an American singer of Arabic and Amazigh (Tashelhit) music. Biography Born in Boston, Grout studied at the Longy School of Music of Bard College, then at the McGill University in Canada. She is the daughter of a pianist and a violinist and began studying music at 5. In 2012 and after her summer trip to Morocco, Jennifer Grout got interested in Arabic and Amazigh culture and music. She competed in Arabs Got Talent and was a finalist in 2013, then in Shaklak Mish Ghareeb in 2014. Karen or Raissa Kelly (born in Blois in 1976) is a French singer in Tachelhit. Biography Kelly was born in 1976 from a French-Portuguese couple living in Blois in the department of Loir-et-Cher in France. In 1988, Kelly visited Casablanca in Morocco together with her family. Aged 12 and during this trip, she was inspired to learn more about the Moroccan culture and languages. In the end of 1991, she was invited to sing in Tashelhit in the national theater of Mohammed V in Rabat. After this appearance, she collaborated with several rways such as Hassan Arsmouk and mostly Hassan Aglawo under her artistic name Rayssa Kelly. "Naima" ( ) is a jazz ballad composed by John Coltrane in 1959 that he named after his then-wife, Juanita Naima Grubbs. Coltrane first recorded it for his 1959 album ''Giant Steps'', and it became one of his first well-known works. History Coltrane recorded "Naima" many times. It appears on ''The Complete Copenhagen Concert'' (1961), ''Live at the Village Vanguard Again!'' (1966), ''Afro Blue Impressions'' (1977), ''The Complete 1961 Village Vanguard Recordings'' (1997), and '' Blue World'' (2019). "Naima" has since become a jazz standard.
