Jennifer Decker
Jennifer Decker (born 28 December 1982) is a French actress. She is best known for the role of Lucienne in the 2006 American film ''Flyboys (film), Flyboys''. Life and career Jennifer began her theatrical career at an early age. At 18 she was spotted by director Irina Brook, who gave her the role of Juliet in a stage production of Shakespeare's ''Romeo and Juliet''. After a success run at the Théâtre national de Chaillot in Paris, the play went on tour throughout France, and then abroad for many months. Jennifer next played a young teenager in love and on the run, the leading part in Steve Suissa's Cavale (''Love on the Run'' (:fr:L'Amour dangereux, fr)). She is continuing to extend the range of her on-stage performances at the Commedia dell'arte. Afterward, she began to show interest in cinematography. ''Flyboys'' is a 2006 war drama film set during World War I, starring James Franco, Martin Henderson, Jean Reno, Jennifer Decker, David Ellison, Abdul Salis, Philip Winchester, and Tyler Labine. It was directed by Tony Bill, a pilot and aviation enthusiast. The screenplay about men in aerial combat was written by Phil Sears, Blake T. Evans and David S. Ward with the story by Blake T. Evans. Themes of friendship, racial prejudice, revenge and love are also explored in the film. The film follows the enlistment, training, and combat experiences of a group of young Americans who volunteer to become fighter pilots in the Lafayette Escadrille, the 124th air squadron formed by the French in 1916.
