Jennifer Croxton
Jennifer Croxton (born 1944 in Cambridge) is a British actress. Career Croxton guest-starred as Lady Diana Forbes-Blakeney opposite Patrick Macnee in the 1969 episode of ''The Avengers (TV series), The Avengers'', ''Killers'', a role which remains one of her most well-known. She appeared in the film, ''Our Miss Fred'' (1972), opposite Danny La Rue, and other television credits include ''It's Awfully Bad For Your Eyes, Darling'', ''Anne of Avonlea (1975 film), Anne of Avonlea'', and ''The Lady and the Highwayman''. She played Plautia Urgulanilla in ''I, Claudius (TV series), I, Claudius'', and has appeared in ''The Cleopatras'', ''The Agatha Christie Hour'' and ''The Stanley Baxter Show''. In 1993 Croxton portrayed Wallis Simpson in Paul Webb's play, ''A Dangerous Woman'', at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London. She is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, BAFTA academy. The Cleopatras
''The Cleopatras'' is a 1983 BBC Television eight-part historical drama serial. Written by Philip Mackie, it is set in Ancient Egypt during the latter part of the Ptolemaic Dynasty with an emphasis on the Cleopatras. Intended to be the ''I, Claudius (TV series), I, Claudius'' of the 1980s, ''The Cleopatras'' met with a decidedly mixed critical reaction. It was regarded and portrayed as a gaudy farce. The series was generally poorly received despite the impressive cast. The series also managed to produce a number of complaints due to the instances of nudity in the series. ''The Cleopatras'' was novelised by Mackie in 1983 as a tie in with the series. The title and incidental music was written and composed by Nick Bicât. In January 1983 a 7" vinyl was released to tie in with the original broadcast. Jermyn Street Theatre
Jermyn Street Theatre is a performance venue situated on Jermyn Street, in London's West End. It is an off-west end studio theatre. History Jermyn Street Theatre opened in August 1994. It was formerly the changing rooms for staff at a Spaghetti House restaurant and originally the cellar of the Kent & Sussex Tavern up until 1838. The space was transformed under the leadership of Howard Jameson and Penny Horner into a 70-seat studio theatre. They both remain the Chair of the Board and Executive Director respectively. In 1995, Neil Marcus became the first Artistic Director and Jermyn Street received their Lottery Grant in 1997. During this time, producer Chris Grady contributed to Jermyn Street Theatre's development. Wallis, Duchess of Windsor (born Bessie Wallis Warfield, later Simpson; June 19, 1896 – April 24, 1986), was an American socialite and wife of the former King Edward VIII. Patrick Macnee
Daniel Patrick Macnee (6 February 1922 – 25 June 2015) was a British film and television actor. After serving in the Royal Navy during World War II, he began his acting career in Canada. Despite having some small film roles, Macnee spent much of his early career in playing small roles in American and Canadian television shows. In 1961, he landed the role of secret agent John Steed in the British television series '' The Avengers''. The show was a success running for eight seasons from 1961 to 1969 and was revived in 1976 as ''The New Avengers''.
