Jennifer Barrett is an American Paralympic athlete who competed at the 1996 Summer Paralympics and 2000 Summer Paralympics for Team USA in discus throw and shot put winning four Paralympic medals and is also a double World champion. Para-athletics is the sport of athletics practised by people with a disability as a disabled sports, parasport. The list of athletics events, athletics events within the parasport are mostly the same as those available to able-bodied people, with two major exceptions in wheelchair racing and the club throw, which are specific to the division.
