Jenna Enge
Jenna Enge (born March 2, 1988) is a Canadian curler, originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario. She currently plays second on Team Penny Barker. She formerly played for the Tracy Fleury (née Horgan) rink and in 2015, Team Horgan became the first team to represent Northern Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Career Juniors Enge was born in Fort Frances, Ontario. She was a Northern Ontario junior champion in 2008, playing second for Ashley Miharija. At the 2008 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, playing for Miharija, they finished with a 8–4 record, tied for third place with Alberta (skipped by Maria Bushell) and Saskatchewan (skipped by Stephanie McVicar). This would mean they had to play in a tie-breaker match against Saskatchewan who had already beat Alberta in the first tie-breaker. They would go on to lose that game 6-5 and were eliminated. Fort Frances
Fort Frances is a town in, and the seat of, Rainy River District in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. The population as of the 2016 census was 7,739. Fort Frances is a popular fishing destination. It hosts the annual Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship. Located on the international border with the United States where Rainy Lake narrows to become Rainy River, it is connected to International Falls, Minnesota by the Fort Frances–International Falls International Bridge. The town is the fourth-largest community in Northwestern Ontario after Thunder Bay, Kenora and Dryden. Ashley Miharija
Ashley Sippala (born Ashley Miharija, January 21, 1987) is a Canadian curler. Sippala currently plays front-end on the Krista McCarville rink. Career Sippala's first major curling event was when she played third for Mike Assad's Northern Ontario team at the 2008 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship. The team finished 6–5. Sippala skipped Team Northern Ontario at the 2008 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Her rink of Jessica Williams, Jenna Enge and Sarah Lang finished with an 8–4 record, before losing in a tie-breaker match to Saskatchewan. The following season, Sippala qualified for her first women's provincial championship. She skipped her Port Arthur Curling Club rink to a 4–5 record at the 2009 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts. The 2013 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, women's provincial curling championship, was held January 21–27, 2013 at the Kitchener-Waterloo Granite Club in Waterloo, Ontario. The winning Rachel Homan rink went on to represent Ontario at the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kingston, Ontario. The 2012 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic is an annual curling bonspiel that was held from September 13 to 16 at the Brockville Country Club in Brockville, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. 2012 Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from Saturday, February 18 to Sunday, February 26 at the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer, Alberta. This Tournament of Hearts marked the second time that Red Deer has hosted the Scotties; the first time that the Scotties was hosted in Red Deer was in 2004. The winning team, Heather Nedohin of Alberta, went on to represent Canada at the 2012 Ford World Women's Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta. Nedohin won the final after she defeated British Columbia's Kelly Scott with a score of 7–6. Nedohin's championship win was the seventh win by the home team of the host province and the first championship win for Alberta in fourteen years. Krista Lee McCarville (born Krista Lee Scharf on November 10, 1982) is a Canadian curling, curler from Thunder Bay, Ontario. Rachel Homan
Rachel Catherine Homan (born April 5, 1989) is a Canadian international curler. Homan is a former Canadian junior champion, a three-time Canadian national champion, and the 2017 world champion, all as a skip. She was also the skip of the Canadian women's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. During her junior career, Homan competed in two Canadian Junior Curling Championships, placing second in 2009 and winning the championship in 2010.
