Jefry Rodríguez
Jefry Osvaldo Rodríguez (born July 26, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Washington Nationals and Cleveland Indians. Career Washington Nationals Rodríguez grew up in the Dominican Republic playing shortstop, but he became a pitcher at age 18, shortly before the Nationals signed him in 2012. He began his professional career in 2012 with 10 games for the Dominican Summer League Nationals in the rookie-league-level Dominican Summer League, starting nine of them and posting a record of 0–2 and an earned run average (ERA) of 2.93 with 35 strikeouts and 33 walks in 43 innings pitched. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Florida Complex League Nationals are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Washington Nationals, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. Complete Game
In baseball, a complete game (CG) is the act of a pitcher pitching an entire game without the benefit of a relief pitcher. A pitcher who meets this criterion will be credited with a complete game regardless of the number of innings played—pitchers who throw an entire official game that is shortened by rain will still be credited with a complete game, while starting pitchers who are relieved in extra innings after throwing nine or more innings will not be credited with a complete game. Class A Short Season (officially Short-Season A) was a level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States from 1965 through 2020. In the hierarchy of minor league classifications, it was below Triple-A, Double-A, Class A-Advanced (created in 1990), and Class A. Auburn Doubledays
The Auburn Doubledays are a collegiate summer baseball team of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) that is located in Auburn, New York. From 1958 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball's New York–Penn League (NYPL). They have played their home games at Leo Pinckney Field at Falcon Park since 1995. They previously played at the original Falcon Park, which was built in 1927 on the same site. The team is owned and operated by Auburn Community Baseball. The South Atlantic League, often informally called the Sally League, is a Minor League Baseball league with teams predominantly in states along the Atlantic coast of the United States from New York to Georgia. The Hagerstown Suns were a Minor League Baseball team based in Hagerstown, Maryland.
