Jeff Johnson (Alberta Politician)
Jeffrey David Johnson (born c. 1967) is a Canadian business man and politician who was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta (MLA) and Minister in three senior cabinet positions. Johnson was elected to the Alberta Legislature for the first time in the 2008 Alberta general election. He held the Athabasca-Redwater district for the Progressive Conservatives, winning in a landslide with almost 70% of the popular vote defeating four other candidates. He went on to do this twice. On October 12, 2011 he was sworn in as Minister of Infrastructure in the cabinet of Alison Redford. He also served as Political Minister-Northern Alberta, and as Board Vice-Chair of the Alberta Treasury Board, overseeing budgets of over seven billion dollars for four Premiers. Jeff Johnson (born November 11, 1966) is an American lawyer and politician. He was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2000 and served there from 2001 to 2007. Johnson left the legislature to run for state attorney general in 2006, but was defeated. Johnson served as a Hennepin County commissioner for the 7th district from 2009 to 2021. He was elected as the Republican National Committeeman from Minnesota in April 2011. Jeffrey D. Johnson (born April 10, 1958) is an American politician and attorney who served as a member of Cleveland City Council for Ward 10 from 2014 to 2018. Johnson served as councilman for Ward 8 from 1984 to 1990 and as a member of the Ohio Senate from 1990 to 1998. Early life and education Johnson was raised in the Collinwood neighborhood and graduated from Collinwood High School. William Jeffrey "Jeff" Johnson (born August 4, 1966) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played with the New York Yankees for his entire Major League career. Born in Durham, North Carolina, Johnson attended South Granville High School, then University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he played college baseball. He was only one of nine people from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to have played Major League Baseball. Jeff Johnson (born February 28, 1977) is a former professional Canadian football running back who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). In addition to his club career – playing over 400 games in the Football League, he also represented his country at youth and under-23 level.
