Jeff Watson (March 26, 1973 – November 8, 2020) was a Canadian game designer, writer, and educator. His principal topics of interest were pervasive and environmental game design, creative process design, and participatory media. Jeff Watson (journalist)
Jeffrey Watson (1942 – 22 February 2023) was a British-born Australian journalist, author and documentary film maker. Watson is perhaps best known for his work on science programs ''Towards 2000'' and ''Beyond 2000'' as well as travel shows ''Holiday'' and '' Getaway''. He also had an interest in aviation, producing numerous documentaries on the subject. Early life Watson was born in late 1942 at Castle Bromwich, near Birmingham in England. His father owned a small factory which made small parts for the Spitfire. Watson's ambitions of becoming a pilot were quashed when he suffered a detached retina after he was injured when a snowball containing a rock was thrown at him during his childhood. Jeffrey D. Watson (born March 25, 1971 in Windsor, Ontario) is the former Member of Parliament for the Essex electoral district in Ontario, 2004-2015 under Stephen Harper's Prime Ministership. In the 2015 General Election, and after four terms in office, Watson narrowly lost his seat to the NDP. The Watsons relocated to Calgary, Alberta looking for a better life. Watson and his wife Sarah have six children. Jeff Watson (guitarist)
Jeffrey Victor Watson (born November 5, 1956 in Sacramento, California) is an American guitarist originally known as one of the founding members and lead guitarist of the band Night Ranger, in which he has played as co-guitarist with guitarist Brad Gillis. Watson developed his signature eight-fingered tapping technique during his time in the band. He appeared as a special guest on Douglas Docker's Docker's Guild project. Watson has also released solo albums. In 2007, he was fired by the three other members of Night Ranger through a letter from their attorney. During 2009 Jeff was part of Dennis DeYoung's travelling band. Jeffrey Watson (priest)
Jeffrey John Seagrief Watson (29 April 1939 - 28 January 2021) was a priest in the Church of England. He was Archdeacon of Ely from 1993 to 2004. Watson was educated at University College School and Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He trained for ordination at Clifton Theological College, and was ordained deacon in 1965 and priest in 1966. After curacies at Christ Church, Beckenham (1965–69) and St Jude's, Southsea (1969–71) he held incumbencies at Christ Church, Winchester (1971–81), and Holy Saviour, Bitterne Bitterne is an eastern suburb and ward of Southampton, England. Bitterne derives its name not from the similarly named bird, the bittern, but probably from the bend in the River Itchen; the Old English words ''byht'' and ''ærn'' together mean ... (1981–93). Geoffrey Stuart Watson (3 December 1921 – 3 January 1998) was an Australian statistics, statistician. Watson was born in Bendigo, Victoria in 1921. He studied at the University of Melbourne, and received his PhD at the North Carolina State University in 1951. After taking positions at the University of Melbourne, the Australian National University, the University of Toronto and Johns Hopkins University, he became chair of the Department of Statistics of Princeton University in 1970. He remained there until his death. Watson developed the Durbin–Watson statistic for detecting autocorrelation with James Durbin of the London School of Economics in 1950. Watson was especially interested in applications of statistics. He used statistical methods to support the theory of continental drift.
