The 2016 Quebec Men's Provincial Curling Championship, also known as the WFG Tankard, was held from January 17 to 24 at the Salaberry Arena in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. Jeff Stewart (soccer)
Jeff Stewart (born June 21, 1980 in Bellevue, Washington) is an American soccer defender who last played for Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. Stewart played college soccer at Santa Clara University from 1998 to 2001. As a junior, he was named the West Coast Conference Defender of the Year; he finished his career at Santa Clara with six goals and one assist in 81 games, 65 of them starts. Upon graduating, Stewart was selected 19th overall in the 2002 MLS SuperDraft by Rapids. Stewart immediately earned a starting place, appearing in 23 games for the Rapids as a rookie, and adding three assists. Stewart started seven of eight games for the team in 2003, before suffering a serious knee injury that kept him out the rest of the season. Unfortunately, Stewart would suffer injury problems throughout the 2004 season as well and, combined with new competition from Nat Borchers, he did not see any playing time. Geoffrey Peter Stewart (born 15 December 1973) is an Australian former rower – a national champion, an U23 world champion and a three-time Olympian. Rowing brothers Geoffrey's twin brother James was also a three time Olympic rower (1996, 2000, 2004). Their younger brother Stephen rowed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. They became the first trio of brothers to represent Australia in rowing at the same Olympics when they all rowed at Athens 2004 to a bronze medal in the men's eight. The brothers were all educated at Newington College (1984–1991), and took up rowing coached by Olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian Michael Morgan and deputy headmaster Robert Buntine. Jeffrey Stewart (born 28 October 1955) is a Scottish actor. He is best known for playing PC Reg Hollis on the ITV drama series ''The Bill'' from 1984 to 2008. Early life Stewart was born in Aberdeen. He and his family moved to Southampton, Hampshire, when he was three months old. His father worked in shipyards and then for Fawley Refinery. Career Stewart has played numerous roles in television series, including Harry Fellows in ''Crossroads'' in 1981 and Dukkha in the 1982 ''Doctor Who'' story ''Kinda''. He played a police constable in ''Hi-De-Hi!'' in 1983, the same year " Woodentop" (the pilot episode of ''The Bill'') aired. Pearl River was an American country music band composed of Jeff Stewart (lead vocals), Chuck Ethredge (lead guitar), Joe Morgan (bass guitar), Derek George (rhythm guitar, background vocals), Ken Fleming (drum kit, drums), and Bryan Culpepper (keyboard instrument, keyboards, background vocals). Signed to Liberty Records in 1993, the band would record two albums: 1993's ''Find out What's Happening'', followed by a self-titled album one year later. This later album replaced Fleming with Steve Argo who was picked by Fleming to be his replacement after Fleming decided to leave the band, and Culpepper with Gary Schiera.
