Jeff Schmedding
Jeff Schmedding (born January 19, 1978) is an American football coach who is currently the defensive coordinator at Washington State University. He most recently served as the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Auburn University. He has previously served as the defensive coordinator for Boise State University. Coaching career Schmedding began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Eastern Washington. Schmedding would serve numerous roles for the team including coaching special teams, safeties and linebackers before becoming the defensive coordinator for Eastern Washington in 2015. In 2019, he was hired by Bryan Harsin to serve as the defensive coordinator for Boise State. In 2021, when Harsin left Boise State for Auburn, he hired Schmedding to coach linebackers. A defensive coordinator is a coach responsible for a gridiron football (American football) team's defense. Generally, the defensive coordinator, the offensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator represent the second level of a team's coaching structure, with the head coach being the first level. The primary role of the defensive coordinator is managing the roster of defensive players, overseeing the assistant coaches, developing the defensive game plan, and calling plays for the defense during the game. Cadillac Williams
Carnell Lamar "Cadillac" Williams (born April 21, 1982) is an American football coach and former running back in the National Football League. Williams was the interim head coach of the Auburn Tigers, the first African American to hold the position in Auburn history. He played college football at Auburn. During the 2005 NFL Draft, Williams was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round and also played for the St. Louis Rams. Derek Mason
Derek Mason (born September 29, 1969) is an American college football coach. He currently is the defensive coordinator for Oklahoma State University. Mason served as the head football coach at Vanderbilt University from 2014 until midway through the 2020 season. Early life and playing career Mason attended Camelback High School in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from high school, he attended Northern Arizona University from 1989 to 1992, where he was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at cornerback. Bryan Harsin
Bryan Dale Harsin (born November 1, 1976) is an American football coach and former player who was most recently the head coach at Auburn University. Prior to leading the Auburn Tigers football team, Auburn Tigers, he coached the Boise State University Boise State Broncos football, Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 69–19 overall record while at Boise.
