Jeff Madden
Jeff "Mad Dog" Madden was the strength and conditioning coach for the college football team of the University of Texas, the Texas Longhorns. He coached the team during the 2005 National Championships. Among his students are two Heisman Trophy winners: Rashaan Salaam and Ricky Williams. Madden attended and graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a football player for the Commodores from 1978–1982. The ReliaQuest Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, usually on New Year's Day. The event has been formerly called the Hall of Fame Bowl from 1986 to 1995 and the Outback Bowl from 1996 to 2022. A sports coach is a person coaching in sport, involved in the direction, instruction and training of a sports team or athlete. History The original sense of the word ''coach'' is that of a horse-drawn carriage, deriving ultimately from the Hungarian city of Kocs where such vehicles were first made.
