Jeff Heuerman
Jeff Heuerman (born November 24, 1992) is a former American football tight end. He played college football for Ohio State, and in 2015 won the CFP National Championship. He was selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, where he played until 2019. Early years Heuerman was an avid hockey player growing up, playing the sport for eight years. He spent one year living in Detroit with his grandfather, to play hockey for the Detroit Compuware team. He played football at Barron Collier High School in Naples, Florida, where he also excelled in track and basketball. Considered a three-star recruit by ''Rivals.com'', Heuerman was rated as the 18th-best tight end prospect of his class. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey. Michael Bennett (defensive Tackle, Born 1993)
Benjamin Michael Bennett IV (born February 24, 1993) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played college football at Ohio State. Early years Bennett attended Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio, where he was a first-team Division I All-Ohio performer who played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He was a two-time Greater Western Ohio Conference player of the year and served as team captain for coach Ron Ullery's 2010 Centerville team that went 9-3 and reached the regional semifinals. Bennett was also a top competitor in track & field. In 2011, Bennett’s final throw of 19.48 meters (63 feet, 11 inches) in the shot put at the Division I track and field meet was enough to vault him to a state title at his future home on the Ohio State University campus. Doran Grant
Doran Grant (born November 30, 1992) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Ohio State. High school career Grant attended St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. During his career he had 203 tackles and six interceptions on defense and 88 receptions for 1,115 yards and 25 touchdowns on offense. Grant was a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and was ranked as the No. 3 cornerback in his class. In track & field, Grant competed as both a hurdler and a sprinter. In 2010 Grant won the state title in the 60m hurdles indoors, and the 110m hurdles outdoors. He had personal-bests of 11.38 in the 100m, 23.4 in the 200m, 8.05 in the 60m hurdles and 14.22 in the 110m hurdles. 2015 Senior Bowl
The 2015 Senior Bowl was an all-star college football exhibition game featuring players from the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season as well as prospects for the 2015 Draft of the professional National Football League (NFL). The game concluded the post-season that had begun on December 21, 2014. Sponsored by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, it was officially known as the Reese's Senior Bowl. 2012 Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team
The 2012 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team represented the University of Nebraska in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Bo Pelini and played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Cornhuskers finished with 10–4 overall, 7–1 Legends, to become Big Ten Legends Division champions. In the postseason, the team was invited to the 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game. It was their fourth division title in the last five years but the first since joining the Big Ten. They lost to Wisconsin (placed in the game due to sanctions on two other schools) and they lost to Georgia in the 2013 Capital One Bowl weeks later. The 2012 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl, the 67th edition of the game, was a post-season American college football bowl game, held on January 2, 2012 at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida as part of the 2011–12 NCAA Bowl season. TaxSlayer.com was named the corporate title sponsor on September 1, 2011. The game, which was telecasted at 1:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2, featured the Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big Ten Conference versus the Florida Gators of the Southeastern Conference. The game was a rematch of the 2007 BCS National Championship Game, where Florida emerged victorious.
