Jeff Duncan (politician)
Jeffrey Darren Duncan (born January 7, 1966) is an American politician who has been the United States representative for South Carolina's 3rd congressional district since 2011. A Republican, Duncan previously served as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Early life, education, and business career Jeff Duncan was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on January 7, 1966. His father worked in the textile business and moved the family across the South while Duncan was growing up. After attending three years of high school at Mooresville Senior High School in Mooresville, North Carolina, Duncan moved to Ware Shoals and attended Ware Shoals High School. During his senior year of high school, he met his future wife, Melody Hodges. Duncan graduated from Clemson University with a BA in political science in 1988, where he walked on as wide receiver on the football team. Geoff Duncan
Geoffrey L. Duncan (born April 1, 1975) is an American businessman, politician, and former professional baseball player, serving as the 12th lieutenant governor of Georgia since 2019. A member of the Republican Party, Duncan is a former member of the Georgia House of Representatives. After playing college baseball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Duncan played professional baseball for six years until a shoulder injury forced him to retire. He went into business and was elected to the Georgia House in 2012. Duncan was elected lieutenant governor in 2018, but he did not seek re-election in 2022, with fellow Republican Burt Jones being elected to replace him. The Club for Growth is a 501(c)(4) conservative organization active in the United States, with an agenda focused on cutting taxes and other economic policy issues. Club for Growth's largest funders are the billionaires Jeff Yass and Richard Uihlein. The club has two political arms: an affiliated traditional political action committee, called the Club for Growth PAC, and Club for Growth Action, an independent-expenditure only committee or Super-PAC.
