Jeff Bostic
Jeffrey Lynn Bostic (born September 18, 1958) is a former American football center who played for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League (NFL). College career A 1980 graduate of Clemson University, Bostic was named All-ACC in 1979 as an offensive lineman for the Tigers. He was also named to Clemson's All-Centennial Team in 1996, and inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 1997. In 1999, he was placed in the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. Bostic has won more Super Bowls (3) than any other former Clemson Tiger. Washington Redskins center Bostic was a member of the Washington Redskins from 1980 to 1993, helping them win Super Bowls XVII, XXII and XXVI and becoming the only Clemson player to play for three Super Bowl Championship teams. 1982–83 NFL Playoffs
The National Football League playoffs for the 1982 season began on January 8, 1983. The postseason tournament concluded with the Washington Redskins defeating the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII, 27–17, on January 30, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. A players' strike reduced the regular season to nine games. Thus, the league used a special 16-team playoff format (dubbed the "Super Bowl Tournament"), just for this year. Division standings were ignored (although each division did send at least one team to the playoffs). Eight teams from each conference were seeded 1–8 based on their regular season records. Robert Charles Kuziel (born July 24, 1950) is a former American football offensive lineman in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints and the Washington Redskins. George Starke
George Lawrence Starke (born July 18, 1948) is a former American football offensive tackle who played for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League (NFL) from 1972-84. After graduating from Columbia College, Starke was drafted by the Washington Redskins and appeared with the Redskins in two Super Bowls 1982 and 1983, helping them win Super Bowl XVII. Joseph Erwin Jacoby (born July 6, 1959) is a former American football offensive tackle. He played for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL), where he won three Super Bowls during his tenure with the team. College career Jacoby started off as an offensive tackle for the University of Louisville from 1978 to 1980. He was a three-year letterman, and the team co-captain in his senior season.
