Jeevanamsam () is a 1968 Indian Tamil language drama film, directed and written by Malliyam Rajagopal. The film is based on his play of the same name. It stars Jaishankar and C. R. Vijayakumari, while A. V. M. Rajan, Pushpalatha, Sivakumar, debutante Lakshmi (as a leading actress) and Nagesh playing pivotal roles. Lakshmi (actress)
Mahalakshmi (born 13 December 1952), known professionally as Lakshmi, is an Indian actress known for her works primarily in the southern film industry (distributing her acting career in almost each Dravidian language equally), along with some Hindi films. She made her film debut through a Tamil film '' Sri Valli'' in 1961. Her debut as an actress happened with the Tamil film '' Jeevanaamsam'' in 1968. Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; (27 September 1933 – 31 January 2009) was an Indian actor, mostly remembered for his roles as a comedian in Tamil films during the 1960s.
