Jeevan Mrityu
''Jeevan Mrityu'' () is a 1970 Hindi-language crime thriller film produced by Tarachand Barjatya for Rajshri Productions. The film starred Dharmendra, Raakhee, Ajit, Rajindernath and Leela Chitnis. The film was a remake of a 1967 Bengali film ''Jiban Mrityu'' starring Uttam Kumar and Supriya Devi in lead roles. The film's music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal while Anand Bakshi penned the lyrics. The film was Raakhee's debut in Hindi movies. The movie's plot has resemblance with novel The Count of Monte Cristo. Plot Ashok Tandon and Deepa are childhood friends who study in the same college and love each other. Satyen Bose
Satyen Bose (22 January 1916 – 9 June 1993) was a film director from India. He has directed both Bengali language, Bengali and Hindi language films. Among his most notable films are ''Raat Aur Din, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Dosti'', and ''Jagriti''. ''Jagriti'' won the Filmfare Best Movie Award in 1956 and ''Dosti'' won the same award in 1964. Hamid Ali Murad (24 September 1911 – 24 April 1997) known simply as Murad was an Indian character actor who appeared in more than 100 Hindi language films from the early 1940s through to the end of the 1980s, playing character roles of a father, police officer, judge and an emperor. His son Raza Murad is also an actor in the Hindi film industry who is known for playing mostly villain roles. Gajanan Jagirdar (2 April 1907 – 13 August 1988) was a veteran Indian film director, screenwriter and actor. He worked in Hindi Cinema, also called Bollywood, as well as Marathi cinema. The period of 1942 to 1947, saw his rise as a film director with Prabhat Films. He was appointed as the first director (then principal) of thFilm and Television Institute of India (FTII)in 1960 which was known as ''Film Institute of India'' then. Jagirdar served as the director of the FTII for just over a year, from 1961 to 1962. Leela Chitnis (''née'' Nagarkar; 9 September 1909 – 14 July 2003) was an Indian actress in the Indian film industry, active from 1930s to 1980s. In her early years she starred as a romantic lead, but she is best remembered for her later roles playing a virtuous and upright mother to leading stars.
