Jeeva (director)
Jeeva (21 September 1963 – 26 June 2007) was an Indian filmmaker, cinematographer and film director in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam-language cinema. He was an established cinematographer in the late 90s and early 2000s. Career Jeeva started his career assisting cinematographer P. C. Sreeram in the films such as ''Nayakan'', ''Agni Natchathiram'', ''Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989 film), Apoorva Sagodharargal'', ''Idhaya Thamarai'', ''Gopura Vasalile'' and ''Meera (1992 film), Meera''. He became an independent cinematographer in Priyadarshan's Malayalam film ''Abhimanyu (1991 film), Abhimanyu'' (1991) starring Mohanlal and went on to film over 20 films including his own directorials. Jeeva (born 30 November 1952) is an Indian actor who works primarily in Telugu and Hindi films. He has been working in films since 1978 and is well known for his negative roles in various Ram Gopal Varma films, particularly '' Satya'' (as Jagga), ''Ab Tak Chhappan'' (as Commissioner Suchak) and '' Sarkar'' (as Swami Virendra). Amar Choudary (born 4 January 1984), known professionally as Jiiva, is an Indian actor and film producer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and a few Hindi films. He is the youngest son of film producer R. B. Choudary. He began his career as a child actor in 1991 in films produced by his father. V. Jeevananthan (born 15 March 1956) popularly known as Oviyar Jeeva (lit. Artist Jeeva) is an Indian painter, film critic, art designer and writer from Tamil Nadu. Biography Jeevananthan is the eldest son of N. Velayutham Pillai, a noted banner artist for Tamil films during the 1950s, '60s and '70s in the Coimbatore area and the proprietor of Cine Arts (est. 1954). Jeevananthan started his education in English medium and Hindi as his second language. He did his schooling from Kikani Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore. He obtained a bachelor's degree in political science from Government Arts College, Coimbatore and his post graduate degree at Presidency College, Chennai.
